Do you sell sustainable jewelry?

We recognize that the jewelry industry and supply chain are imperfect. That’s why we are committed to offsetting what we can’t control by making good choices and supporting responsible practices that we believe in.

Jen Rose jewelry is handmade in our San Francisco studio using only recycled metals (14k and 18k gold, sterling silver, and bronze) and responsibly sourced gems (both natural and lab grown), while operating with utmost concern for our environmental impact.

What does this mean exactly?

  • Our recycled metals are purchased from suppliers who receive regular, third-party audits that certify their practices and ensure a high level of standards  - confirming that their recycled metals are exactly what they say they are.
  • Our gems are purchased from a handful of trusted vendors who maintain that the gem materials they source and sell are: a) not sourced or processed using child labor or in violation of local laws, b) obtained legally, not in association with smuggling or supporting illegal activities. 
  • Our studio operates with an emphasis on using green / sustainable processes from start to finish. We work to reduce and eliminate waste, always recycling, composting, and reusing what we can. We only use recycled and biodegradable materials for supplies and packaging. We’ve also eliminated harsh chemicals and use only non-toxic, biodegradable products in our studio.

How do you process my online order?

Once your order has been placed online, you'll receive an order confirmation email.

  • If your items have been listed as "Ready to Ship", we will process and ship out your order within 1-3 business days. 
  • If your items have been listed as "Made to Order", we will process and ship out your order within 4 - 6 weeks. 

Once your order has been shipped, we'll email you the tracking number for the package.

Depending on your location in the U.S., shipping and delivery can take an additional 1-3 days. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

What shipping method do you use?

We ship through the US Postal Service using Priority Mail. Shipping will be calculated at checkout. 

You will receive the shipment tracking number once the package goes out. 

Depending on your location in the Continental U.S., shipping and delivery can take 1-3 days.

We do not offer international shipping at this time.

What is your return policy?

READY TO SHIP ITEMS

We allow customers a refund or exchange for READY TO SHIP ITEMS within 30 days of the item's delivery. 

The return merchandise must be in perfect, unworn condition. Any signs of visible wear & tear on the jewelry may invalidate the option for the item to be returned for refund or exchange. 

All sales are final on exchanged items.

MADE TO ORDER ITEMS

As MADE TO ORDER ITEMS are hand fabricated, made specially just for you - MADE TO ORDER items are considered final sales.

  • While we're not able to offer a refund on made to order items, we are able to offer an exchange. The exchange must be completed within 30 days of the item's delivery.

The return merchandise must be in perfect, unworn condition. Any signs of visible wear & tear on the jewelry may invalidate the option for the item to be exchanged. 

All sales are final on exchanged items.

HOW TO RETURN

Please contact Jen Rose to notify us of your intent to return. You will be provided with information for return shipping. The customer will incur any shipping costs associated with returns. Please do not ship any packages to Jen Rose without prior notification and approval.

Gift Wrap & Packaging

Your jewelry will arrive sealed and wrapped in tissue, inside a decorative Jen Rose gift box.

  • Our custom gift boxes are made with recycled, FSC-certified materials, printed with soy-based inks so they can be conveniently composted or recycled after use.
  • Our custom tissue paper is made from FSC-certified, recycled paper and is compostable after use.

Each item will be sealed separately with an anti tarnish tab included that will help protect the jewelry against tarnish for up to 12 months.

  • The tabs are non-toxic and absorb tarnish-causing elements without emitting damaging gases or leaving deposits on the jewelry. 

A complementary polishing cloth will also be provided with every purchase, tucked inside the box. 

Outer Gift Wrapping & Ribbon can be requested for extra special occassions. Simply send us a note with your online order or contact us at: info@jewelrybyjenrose.com. 

Do you offer repairs?

Jen Rose offers alterations and repairs on jewelry sold through our online shop. 

Our services include, but are not limited to: 

  • Ring resizing 
  • Necklace length adjustments
  • Clasp replacement 
  • Engraving 
  • Gem setting and gem replacement 
  • Cleaning and polishing 

If you purchased an item from Jen Rose that needs repair, please contact us at j.rose.jewelry@gmail.com.

Please provide your name & contact information, date of purchase, and a description of the item and repair / alteration that is needed. If possible, please provide photos of the item that help detail the issue.

In turn, we'll provide you with a free repair or alteration quote. Should you choose to move forward, we'll provide instructions to help you get the item back to the Jen Rose studio, via shipment or drop off. 

Please note that we do not service jewelry that was not created by Jen Rose.
